How To Step Up As A Leader (And Other Lessons From The Coronavirus Pandemic) [Episode 253]

Ok. So, the world’s getting pretty crazy right about now, isn’t it?

We’ve been having punch-ons in the supermarket, with people fighting over the last roll of toilet paper. Many of you are in home lockdown, or potentially stranded in a foreign country.

And news and conversations about coronavirus are permeating every last part of your consciousness.

Gone mad yet?

Not to worry. Winston Churchill once said: “Never waste a good crisis”, which I think is a very useful way to approach the current situation.

In this episode, I share some of the observations I’ve made in relation to people’s behaviour during the hysteria, as well as other valuable leadership lessons we can take away from the situation.

Because, at the very least, I believe we should use any challenge as an opportunity to learn!

My goal is for you to walk away thinking differently about this situation, and to take some of the learnings into other areas of your life (when, of course, we go back to ‘normal’!).

Stay safe, take care of yourself, and of course, don’t forget to wash your hands after listening to this podcast ;P
